SDG has developed Internet and Intranet solutions on standard Microsoft platforms for several years. Thanks to this experience, SDG has created a product which is extremely flexible and useful for the dynamic management of sites.
It is well-known that poorly updated web or intranet site encounters just a little interest among surfers and it can be soon forgotten. On the contrary, a dynamic, often updated website stimulates its consultation. If, in addition to the "freshness" of its content, a site shows itself as being active by notifying news, then it will reach a high level of effectiveness .
The Content Management System (now CMS)SDG developed allows a layman computer user to work through guided functions which can be used on-line, through a simple Internet Browser (Internet Explorer 6 or higher ).You must not have any programming or HTML knowledge, and can concentrate on the content, which is guided by appropriate features accordingly to content’s type.
The CMS provides two major users’ categories: navigation and administration users. The person who navigates can use the public CMS site and may be both an unknown or a registered user (this last one can navigate in restricted areas through the CMS engine’s control).
The administrator is a user with special permissions whom, under CMS engine’s control, can use back office features. These are accessible from any on-line Internet browser too and are designed for not-programmers users. Back office features allow you to dynamically manage the whole content of the site.

• Managing Users and Permissions: the product is equipped with a system that allows a super-administrator to set up users, profiles and access rights. Once configured, the access management system allows high levels of security.

These special features are obviously in addition to the basic functionality of the composition of pages, which is based on a graphical editor and guided tours. At last, it should be noted that the product, regardless of the licensing policies, allows you to manage multiple sites simultaneously (multiportal).
In addition, SDG’s CMS meets the accessibility’s requirements which were set out by Law 4/2004 (Stanca’s Law),therefore it enables you to build sites that promote access for persons with disabilities. For this reason SDG’s CMS is especially used to manage government sites. SDG’s CMS can be purchased as a license or can be rented through the ASP formula.
