Types of data processed

During normal browsing, our systems collect certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols (e.g. IP addresses, browser type, pages visited). This data is used only in aggregate, statistical form and is not associated with identified individuals.

When a user voluntarily fills in the contact form or writes to an email address published on the site, the data provided is collected: name, email address and message content.

Purpose and legal basis of processing

Data provided through the contact form is processed to respond to requests received, based on the consent given by the user when sending the message (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and, where relevant, to carry out pre-contractual steps requested by the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Browsing data is processed based on the Controller's legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Processing methods

Processing is carried out using IT tools, with security measures adequate to prevent loss, unlawful use, or unauthorized access to the data.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site does not use profiling cookies or third-party cookies. It uses only technical cookies: one that remembers the language selected by the user (Italian/English), an anti-forgery security cookie set when the contact form is used and, for site administrators only, a session cookie for the restricted area. Visit statistics are collected on the server in aggregate form, without cookies and without storing IP addresses.

Data sharing and transfer

Data collected through the contact form is not shared with third parties or transferred outside the European Economic Area. Should the form be connected in the future to an external email delivery service, this policy will be updated with the provider's details and the relevant processing safeguards.

Retention period

Data collected through the contact form is retained for as long as needed to handle the request and, afterwards, for a maximum of 24 months, unless otherwise required by law.

Data subject rights

At any time, users can exercise the rights granted under Articles 15-22 of the GDPR by writing to sdg@sdgitaly.it: access to their data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing. Users may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

Changes to this policy

SDG reserves the right to update this privacy policy. The version in force is always the one published on this page, indicating the date of the last update.
